Areas of focus: Youth 16+/Young Adults/Adults, Stress Management, Grief, Depression, Trauma, Life Stage Challenges, and Anxiety MA, Licensed Counselling Therapist (CCTNB), Certified Professional Counsellor (PACCP) Kim began working for Touchstone in 2010 following her training at Providence Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Arts in Counselling and stayed on for an extra year to complete a Counselling Teaching Fellowship. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Kim served as the Assistant Director at New Life Mission in Moncton, where they served the needs of at-risk youth and their families. While Kim practices as a general practitioner, her areas of focus are: stress management, grief, depression, trauma, life stage challenges, and anxiety. She is dedicated to offering clients a compassionate, hope-filled, and safe environment in which to pursue healing and growth for their lives. While she has a humanistic therapeutic foundation, Kim uses an integrated counselling approach, drawing on techniques from various therapies. Kim is also a Clinical Supervisor with CCTNB. Erin Burke, MA, RCT, APC
Area of focus: Grief, Life Transitions, Anger Management, Anxiety and Panic, Conflict Resolution, Self-Growth, Individuals (15 yrs+) Erin carried out her internship at Touchstone from September 2019 – July 2020. She has continued her career at Touchstone (2020), with offices in both New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Erin graduated from Athabasca University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (2017). Later, she received a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (2020). Rather than adhering to a single therapeutic approach, Erin is informed by and applies strategies most often from Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, tailored to clients’ individual needs. Although Erin is not yet ready to hold counselling sessions in French, she does have a foundational understanding of the language, allowing her to engage in basic conversation with her clients. Leaning into Humanistic values, Erin fosters a calming presence that helps clients feel more comfortable and safe throughout the counselling process.

Arianna Gaudreault, MACP Practicum Student
Arianna is currently completing her practicum internship at Touchstone for her Master of Counselling Psychology degree through Yorkville University. She is practicing under the clinical supervision of an approved practicum supervisor. She works with adolescents (12 +) and adults, providing support for anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions. Arianna takes a client-centred approach, creating a safe and compassionate space where clients can feel heard, valued, and supported. She integrates various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, meeting clients where they are on their journey. Arianna is passionate about trauma counselling and aims to specialize in this field as she continues her professional development. She is known for her warm, authentic presence, helping clients feel comfortable as they navigate life’s challenges. Area of focus: Individuals (14+), Relationships, Anxiety, Depression, Behavioural Issues, Stress Management, Dependencies, and ADHD. Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate (CCTNB) Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) Amanda received her Master's in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University in September of 2023, as well as her B.A. in Psychology from Crandall University in 2021. In her practice, Amanda often uses an integrative counselling approach tailored to each client's needs. Many of her approaches are based on elements of acceptance and commitment therapy, some cognitive and behavioural techniques, narrative approaches, and somatically based tools. Amanda believes that every person has their own unique lived experiences which can often shape how they view their stories and sometimes even the stories of others. She continuously strives to ensure each client feels a sense of safety, hope, and an increased confidence in their ability to control their own healing journey.

Jeff has also had extensive experience in working with couples dealing with issues such as infidelity, communication struggles or other problems associated with the pressures couples face today. Theoretical Orientation: Jeff’s approach to therapy is solution focused, influenced by rational emotive and cognitive behavioral perspectives that seek to be client-centered but also incorporating a family systems framework, depending on the situation presented. Personal Interests: Jeff enjoys playing hockey, golf, skiing, and fishing, as well as renovating with various power tools.
